OMCQ Prep is an independent question bank for doctors preparing for the Orthopaedic Multiple Choice Question (OMCQ) Test, part of selection into the AOA 21 Training Program in Orthopaedic Surgery. It does not aim to be a complete or exhaustive resource on orthopaedics. OMCQ Prep is not accredited by any educational provider.
1.2 Relevance
The content on OMCQ Prep covers orthopaedic knowledge relevant to the test, but it is not exhaustive. Students are responsible for supplementing this information with their own research using multiple external resources. OMCQ Prep does not guarantee that its content will match the content of the Orthopaedic Multiple Choice Question (OMCQ) Test set by the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) (see Section 4: Affiliations).
1.3 Accuracy
OMCQ Prep strives to ensure all content is accurate and current; however, due to the evolving nature of medical literature, accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Students must verify information using independent sources. While content is reviewed regularly, to the extent permitted by law OMCQ Prep disclaims liability for any errors or inaccuracies and any resulting claims or damages (see Section 7).

OMCQ Prep may use or link to third-party materials. Such inclusion does not imply endorsement. All use of third-party content complies with Australian Copyright Law. To the extent permitted by law, OMCQ Prep is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or changes in third-party content and disclaims any liability associated with it (see Section 7).
1.5 Exam Results
OMCQ Prep does not guarantee any score in the OMCQ Test or any selection outcome. The question bank is designed as a study aid only. OMCQ Prep is not liable for any candidate’s test performance.

3.1 Clinical Practice
Information provided by OMCQ Prep is for educational purposes only and must not be used to guide clinical decision-making or patient treatment.
3.2 Public Presentations
Content from OMCQ Prep is protected by copyright and may not be used in public presentations without prior written permission.
3.3 Examinations
OMCQ Prep is not affiliated with the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Content is not a guaranteed preparation tool for the OMCQ Test and should not be relied upon solely for exam preparation.
3.4 Academic Integrity and Prohibited Use
Users must not reproduce, distribute, or publish OMCQ Prep materials as part of any coursework, commercial training, or examination preparation service without written consent. Plagiarism, reselling, or redistribution of materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

5.4 Other Images and Media
Images or videos created by OMCQ Prep are protected under Australian Copyright Law. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
5.5 Intellectual Property Ownership
All intellectual property, including the OMCQ Prep brand, platform structure, question bank, explanations, frameworks, and original illustrations, remains the exclusive property of OMCQ Prep. Purchase or access does not transfer ownership. OMCQ Prep reserves the right to seek legal remedies for unauthorised use.
6. Privacy and Data Handling
6.1 Personal Details
User information is confidential and stored securely within the OMCQ Prep administration portal. It is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.
6.2 Data Retention and Privacy Compliance
Personal information is retained for up to 24 months following account closure. OMCQ Prep complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Users can request access or deletion of their data at any time.
6.3 Cookies and Analytics
OMCQ Prep may use cookies and similar tools to enhance user experience and measure website performance, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, OMCQ Prep and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage resulting from the use of the content, including any errors or omissions, reliance on content, or interruption of services. Users assume full responsibility for verifying any information before applying it in clinical or academic settings.
8. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the platform by introducing viruses, scraping content, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the OMCQ Prep website or database. Breaches may result in suspension of access and potential legal action.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of OMCQ Prep services shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
10. Changes to These Terms
OMCQ Prep reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes do not affect purchases already made.
11. International Users
OMCQ Prep is designed for users within Australia. International users are responsible for ensuring local compliance with educational and data protection laws in their jurisdiction.
12. Tax Disclaimer
Please seek independent tax advice from a registered tax agent regarding any claims for self-education expenses. OMCQ Prep assumes no responsibility for members’ taxation activities.
13. Premium Access
OMCQ Prep offers premium digital content through a one-off purchase of AUD $300 on this website. Premium provides access to premium OMCQ Prep content for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of successful purchase.
This purchase is non-renewing. It does not automatically renew at the end of the 12-month access period, and users will not be automatically charged again.
Payment is charged at the time of purchase.
After the 12-month access period expires, premium access will end. To continue, the user must make a new purchase to obtain another access period.
14. In-App Purchase
Where OMCQ Prep is available as a mobile app, premium digital content may be offered through an In-App Purchase available via the Apple App Store. The premium product provides access to premium OMCQ Prep content for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of successful purchase.
This purchase is non-renewing. It does not automatically renew at the end of the 12-month access period, and users will not be automatically charged again.
Payment will be charged to the user’s Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
After the 12-month access period expires, premium access will end. If premium access is offered for purchase again, the user must make a new purchase to obtain another access period.
Purchases and payments made through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.
